Photographer Bruce Frisch photographs wildflowers, wild animals, and people “of all stripes, particularly artists.” Recently, his photos of Indian artist V.S. Gaitonde have appeared in art auction catalogs by Christie’s and Saffronart and have been used for publicity and a slideshow accompanying a show at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
Bruce’s photographs appear regularly in Norfolk Now, other Connecticut publications and websites, and a host of national publications. He has had several solo photo shows and participated in many group shows at the Norfolk Library, Norfolk, CT, and the Litchfield Library, Litchfield, CT, as well as the annual Norfolk Artists & Friends group show at Battell Stoeckel Gallery, Norfolk, CT. In addition he has had solo shows in Torrington, CT, Brooklyn, NY, and Smithtown, LI.
For many years Bruce worked as an editor for Aerospace America. In that capacity he also took covers and other photographs for the magazine. Earlier Bruce wrote, took covers and inside photos for Science Digest, and wrote for Product Engineering. Many of his works are available through Photo Researchers, a stock photo service.
